KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Development to join our Tax Technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple software development projects for key portfolios and be the technical point of contact and guide development teams in unit testing process; test and troubleshoot applications built on Microsoft Azure, Angular, ASP.NET, .NET, C# and SQL Server; PML responsibilities
  • Manage multiple software development teams, delegate tasks and apply consistent and standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM or similar iterative processes
  • Lead project intake process from a delivery perspective and work with business to understand the scope, estimate the work, staff up the team and actively oversee development work on software projects
  • Assume accountability for delivering high quality products on time and within budget
  • Maintain strong work relationship with clients, vendors, other groups to emphasize a positive and proactive attitude towards commitments from the department
  • Evaluate products and third party components, provide technical input on architecture, build vs. buy projects

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in developing, unit testing and troubleshooting applications software using Microsoft Azure, Angular, ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript technologies and SQL Server with advanced level of knowledge on application development using these technologies; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in designing database schema, develop stored procedures and other database objects on SQL Server or similar experience in comparable technologies such as Oracle is accepted
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in leading development teams on projects with at least five years of recent experience in a Development Manager role
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM or other iterative processes
