KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Cloud Data Architect to join our Global Technology team which is part of the KPMG International organization.


  • Create the data and analytic capability on One Platform to enable developing and future proof new business demand
  • Develop KPMG's cloud data and analytic strategy
  • Define data standards, data governance and compliance requirements
  • Create cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, including data management, monitoring and big data developments
  • Create and maintain required architecture and design documentation
  • Oversee the application architecture and deployment in a multi-cloud environment


  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in Database management, Data Analytics and Data warehousing, including cloud-native database and modern data warehouse
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft data platform (Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of data architecture, standards and data governance in relational and nonrelational databases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical information to IT Leadership, the business, developers and support staff
  • Strong experience as primary technical leader on successful large application deployments with the ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously
