Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. The safety and well-being of our people continues to be the top priority, and our decisions around travel are informed by government COVID-19 response directives, recommendations from leading health authorities, and guidance from a number of infectious disease experts. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. At some point in the future and with the safety of people as the critical factor, the travel requirement will likely increase, possibly to previous levels, but KPMG is committed to balancing client requirements with new delivery capabilities.

KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Technology Enablement for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to lead/assist and design End to End digital solutions that combine one or many of cloud, AI, automation, IoT, API and other multi-vendor capabilities and become their trusted advisor and co-create and design innovative solutions
  • Strong communication skills to engage with senior leaders at a client as well as functional & industry leaders within KPMG
  • Define the reference and implementation architectures for digital solutions and accelerators
  • Be known as an influencer and a recognized thought leader, with proven track record translating client problems into patterns that combine one or many capabilities that solve the problem
  • Acts as a trusted advisor for the client implementations to ensure architecture and design principles are upheld
  • Leading design thinking workshops and build prototypes using Agile methods

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience architecting solutions that include automation, AI, IoT, data management, integration technologies and deployed on cloud infrastructures preferably for large enterprises
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or Master's degree from an accredited college/university with minimum two years of experience; or a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or related fields from an accredited college/university
  • Demonstrated track record & expertise in architecting technical resolutions that include Microservices, AI/ML platforms (Watson, AWS SageMaker, Data Robot), data management & pipelines (Spark, AirFlow, Synapse, ELK), continuous integration / continuous deployment (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform), API Management (Apigee, Kong)
  • Development, delivery燼nd supporting爀nterprise scale applications燼nd leading爋n projects or products in a multi-vendor environment
  • Hands-on experience producing detailed technical diagrams and authoring technical documentation爓ith demonstrated experience in architecting cloud native solutions with platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
