KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Economic and Valuation Services practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with finance officers and management teams from infrastructure funds, private equity, tax equity investors and sponsors and developers in the valuation of renewable and other generation-related investments and/or assets
  • Manage staff in the preparation of valuations renewable (i.e. wind, solar, battery, etc.) and other generating assets held by publicly-traded and/or private companies
  • Assist management with business development and origination activities
  • Work with financial models including diverse valuation methods, such as discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and allocation models
  • Perform analyses on financial and economic data, subject companies, guideline companies, industries and markets, and other types of fund and investment analysis
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and other application and data providers

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the following areas: renewable energy analysis, private equity, valuation, financial statement analysis, quantitative analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, and/or capital markets
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics or business from an accredited college/university
  • Completion of an advanced degree or professional designation as listed below
  • Advanced finance, financial modeling, accounting, and analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently
  • Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, presentation, organizational and problem solving skills, and attention to detail

Advanced Degrees

Masters in: Business Administration, Sustainability, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Taxation, Information and Data Science, or Accounting

Professional Designations

ABV, ASA, CPA, CFA, CEIV


Colorado Salary Statement:

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role.  Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Colorado Salary Range: Low: $80200 - High: $145100
