KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Industries Marketing – Government and Public Sector to join our Clients and Markets organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Director, Industry Marketing, Government and Public Sector to align functional and industry priorities and develop execution/activation plans that incorporate industry content and messaging into our multi-channel paid, owned and earned campaigns and programs to effectively build brand, drive targeted audience engagement, and package/promote through priority industry verticals, geographies and accounts
  • Work with partners and professionals to cultivate new relationships with business development impact (e.g., local influencers, academics, corporate executives); build and nurture relationships and identify relationship networks within KPMG as part of an effective outreach strategy
  • Understand the dynamics of reputation/brand, relationship building, and revenue opportunities in a holistic marketing approach; use data and analytics and deep marketing experience to devise growth programs and marketing/campaign plans that deliver against business goals; strong understanding of customer’s values and needs, and uses that knowledge to position services and solutions in the most relevant way, leveraging optimal channel mix
  • Create a point-of-view that is engaging and compelling through various channels (e.g., white papers, blogs, and videos); demonstrate an ability to ask probing questions to gather meaningful insights and maintains continuous awareness of emerging industry trends
  • Develop and execute brand activation plans to drive desired perception in the marketplace (national, function/industry/geography); builds awareness and pre-disposes current and potential clients on KPMG service offerings through a variety of written, digital, and in-person channels; ability to mobilize teams and engage with others to activate vision
  • Understand the unique dynamics in which government and public sector operate and develops creative ways to execute our brand strategy and drive awareness in the market

Qualifications:

  • Minimum seven years of marketing experience; professional services environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of government and/or public sector is preferred
  • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college or university; MBA is preferred
  • Effective people development and management
  • Experience developing integrated, vertical marketing plans that align with horizontal and vertical business priorities
  • Experience developing, executing and measuring a strategic, effective sponsorship and event strategy
