KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Cloud Operations to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Create templates and code to automate solution delivery and deployment into public and private clouds for a wide range of technologies across Windows and Linux platforms; Develop automated and manual tests to ensure code quality as solution is promoted between environments
  • Participate in solution implementation of application deployments into public and private clouds
  • Work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute the plan; Ability to estimate scope and timelines, partner with other teams to drive solutions over the line
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast moving enterprise and thrive in a complex environment, ability to adapt to constantly changing environment
  • Provide third tier support for operations and support teams; Maintain technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in the area of agile system development and public cloud

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of practical application of scripting and automation techniques including Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Task Automation
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Technical experience with automation technologies like Cloud Formation, ARM (Azure Resource Manager), Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet or similar
  • Strong scripting and task automation skills utilizing Python, Perl, Ruby, Java or Powershell preferred
  • Solid understanding and experience in developing and troubleshooting various technologies including Cloud and Systems automation, enterprise network communications/protocols, Windows and Linux authentication and authorization, Virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, VMWare), enterprise networking, encryption standards, technologies and related elements desired
