KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Network Security Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.


  • Assist Architecture in the development of technology architecture roadmaps and maintain existing roadmaps; evaluate the current network & network security architecture and develop action plans to make necessary improvements in line with industry best practices and standards
  • Provide input on the overall technology plan for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the network security technical infrastructure; collaborate and work effectively with different technology teams and vendors delivering complete networking solutions
  • Drive to deliver technology and products in the roadmap on schedule, and with the highest quality
  • Provide advice, guidance and direction to carry out plans and procedures; ensure product development process adherence, performance and budget targets are met; provide 3rd tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis; establish network environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
  • Understand the Operations and Architecture of the Network security technology and recommend ways to enhance productivity and visibility through automation; work closely with internal Network Operations and Architecture teams to gather requirements and build/deploy appropriate tools
  • Build configuration management, service provisioning, inventory management, resource management, process automation, visibility and self-service tools; provide training and guidance to other members of the Network team


  • Minimum five years of experience engineering designing and implementing network and network security architecture including business requirements gathering, technology rollout, project and capacity management
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCDP or CCIE certification preferred
  • Must have experience with Infoblox: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP; Deep understanding of TCP/IP and Routing & Switching technologies vPC, vPC+, OTV, VDC, VRF, VXLAN, VRF, Routing technologies, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPV4/V6, NAT, ACL’s; knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, CEF, Security Protocols, network management tools; Knowledge of event correlation systems to diagnose and manage security events within the firm; ability to program with one or more ‘scripting’ languages (such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash and JavaScript)
  • Technical knowledge of remote access technology MPLS, VPN, IP Sec and ACLs; NAC technology; working knowledge of threat intelligent management products such as Arbor TMS, Akamai DDOS protection; knowledge or hands-on experience with public cloud deployments like AWS, Azure is a plus; good knowledge of Network function virtualization Virtual router/Switch, Virtual FW, Virtual Load Balancers
  • Strong understanding of IDS/IPS such as Cisco SourceFire, and Palo Alto Strong Networking background with expert level in firewall technologies like Palo Alto is required; understanding concept of large scale micro-segmentation and application tier model; familiar with solution like Tetration, vArmour, Illumio is added advantage; deep understanding of Proxies and Content Filtering technologies such as Bluecoat proxies; understanding of load balancing technologies, Neustar, F5, BigIQ
  • US Citizenship required
