KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Global Business Operations Team Lead to join our Global Business Operations organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Global Business Operations (GBO) business lead team consisting of ten Associate Directors and Managers and generate an overall sense of community and cooperation among them
  • Support the business leads and provide strategic and executive-level guidance for alignment with Global Independence Group (GIG)/GBO priorities and objectives and help navigate politically difficult situations with high visibility
  • Maintain strong relationship with selected high-profile stakeholders globally and with special emphasis on board-level firms
  • Promote integration among Risk applications and identify capability gaps for individuals and the team as a whole and foster approaches to improve as well as identify and disseminate consistent use of best practice
  • Maintain a strategic and cross-application perspective and be aware of emerging regulations and global compliance and risk priorities
  • Support Executive Director in creating reports, key messaging and recommendations relevant to the GBO Investment Program, provide leadership in executive communications to senior leadership

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years’ experience preferably working in a professional services/accounting firm environment
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a client facing or IT relationship manager role or equivalent including experience as a direct supervisor for staff 
  • Minimum three years' experience with Business Analysis and experience leading the initiation, requirements, design, building, and/or deployment of large and complex applications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience working in Risk Management, Compliance and Independence strongly preferred
  • Possess executive presence, presentation and excellent communication skills with extensive experience preparing business cases to executive level audiences
