KPMG is currently seeking an AAS in Accounting Advisory Services for our Deal Advisory practice.


  • Execute on a broad range of data and analytic techniques at the direction of KPMG and client leaders
  • Assist in the assessment, capture and translation of complex business issues and requirements into tailored financial database models and analysis, including rapid learning of industry, domain, client dynamics and key issues which address stakeholder concerns, valuation models, synergies, contractual issues and accounting and tax reporting implications
  • Interface with KPMG project leaders as well as client and target company management teams
  • Collaborate with Deal Advisory and other KPMG teams to align product deliverables and work stream plans
  • Draft technical documentation and client presentations
  • Participate in every component of a client deliverable, from identifying client needs to producing the final report or data extract


  • Minimum of three years of experience in developing database models or applications with proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, Tableau or similar data analysis tools
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in project management including: planning, organizing, coordinating and supervising staff, clients or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment as a team player
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and findings to business people potentially including C-level executives, and able to explain business processes, concepts, challenges, and issues to technical resources
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, macros, and external data connections
  • Travel may be up to eighty percent
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
