KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director HR (Federal Practice), to join our Human Resources Organization.


  • Provide Human Resource (HR) services to the Federal Services Advisory Practice
  • Supervise 2-3 regional HR professionals aligned with the Federal Services Advisory Practice
  • Manage recurring HR processes such as performance review, compensation planning, employee relations and Employer Of Choice (EOC) initiatives
  • Prepare HR updates and present to the Federal Services leadership team
  • Drive practice-specific initiatives including annual employee survey results, staff councils and specialized training
  • Partner with senior leadership and provide strategic HR insight to a variety of business challenges


  • Minimum ten years of progressive HR generalist experience and four years of supervisory experience, preferably within a professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to travel as needed
