KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, to join our Procurement Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category management strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders; inclusive of sourcing, contracting and vendor management for office services and products such as food services, postal services, office supplies, facility services, maintenance/repair, security systems/services, copier services, document storage, destruction services and office leases
  • Develop and support the short and long term sourcing plans and vendor strategies in partnership with primary stakeholders
  • Lead, manage and support cross functional teams throughout the sourcing, negotiations, contracting and vendor management processes
  • Collaborate and partner across various legal, compliance and risk mitigation departments to ensure adherence with respective policies and achievement of relevant contractual terms
  • Identify and act on opportunities for process re-engineering and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven years of experience leading strategic sourcing and operational/value generating initiatives with extensive knowledge of the office services industry with at least five years of experience sourcing, procuring, contracting, negotiating and vendor management for respective services
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Prior experience managing outsourced providers
  • Experience with category management strategies for categories in scope, opportunity diagnostic, strategic sourcing process and supplier management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with project management tools, advanced skills in eSourcing, reverse Auctions, Ariba and supplier management tools
  • Strong understanding of contract terms and techniques for driving additional value and managing risks
